Review: The Cheeky Panda – Bamboo Kitchen Rolls | Pack of 2 Rolls (2-Ply) | Biodegradable This is a good kitchen roll. It's strong and doesn't tear apart too easily however it has a plastic feel to it when drying your hands. I've put this down to the bamboo fibres it contains. It isn't fast to absorb water when drying your hands unlike other brands but it's strength balances this negativity out. Someone on here mentions they're not happy because this kitchen roll can't be reused over and over again, seriously? Who on earth reuses kitchen roll? Sure if you want to save money you could place it on the washing line to dry, maybe iron it out ready for the next use. Tea towels, dish cloths etc sure, they can be washed and reused but kitchen roll is taking it a bit too far. I like the fact that the packaging is all fully recyclable, its delivered in a cardboard box which can be recycled or reused, give it the cats, they like boxes and this one is a good size! The individual packaging on the rolls is paper, not plastic, thus this paper is recycled, not a single piece of plastic in sight and for that I must give the manufacturer 5 Stars for helping the environment. This lasts just as long as other leading brands of kitchen roll however the price is a lot higher, considering many of the well known brands are switching to paper packaging and are sourcing their raw materials from recycled or managed areas, then maybe Cheeky Panda had better look at their own pricing structure before customers vote on their feet, so lower the price! £3.31 for 2rolls is expensive! I only purchased this brand because my usual favourite, cheaper, brands were out of stock, I would continue to purchase this if it was competitively priced! Review: Gimmicky and over priced.These kind of products are usually acquide from sustainable forestry anyway.There is nothing remarkable about these as their cost would suggest.I will not be buying these again unless they are more in keeping with supermarket quality kitchen and bathroom tissues etc.
