Review: These didn't do anything for me. I don't have clinical depression or very obvious anxiety problems, but I am seriously ill and disabled with M.E., have very frequent and severe migraines, and for the past 3.5 years have had undiagnosed 24/7 neuropathic pain from my butt to my toes ie. My sleep is terrible because I am always in so much pain. Due to being totally alone with these illnesses, life is also very stressful. I was hoping that these may have helped with stress and sleep, but they did nothing except give me a bad headache the following morning (which to be fair, many tablets and/or supplements do if I take them late in the evening). If I remember correctly, they also gave me nightmares every night and palpitations. Update: July 2014 I have recently come back to researching serotonin, and to my surprise, have found that it can help with migraines, as well as chronic body pain so I am going to try it again, using the Love Life High Strengh 100mg capsulesLOVE LIFE High Strength 5-HTP from Griffonia Seed Powder | 100mg x 90 Capsules | 100% Natural Serotonin | Premium GMP Supplement NB: from research, I have found out that the co-factors for 5htp are approx 10mg of B6, niacin and magnesium...taking a multi vit/min should suffice. These help the 5htp convert to serotonin. ? IMPORTANT: There are quite a few prescription drugs that don't mix with 5htp, but one that I hadn't noticed on most lists, was antibiotics. Don't take 5htp and antibiotics together.
