Review: I’m not sure when it happened or why, but the formula has been changed and now it has a LOT more alcohol then before. I used to buy these and use it as a facial toner. I can no longer do that. You can clearly smell the alcohol as soon as you apply it and it leaves the skin dry and rough. As some may know, not all types of alcohol are bad for your skin; a lot of skincare products contain fatty alcohols that are perfectly fine to use on skin. However, I’m confident that, given this feels on the skin and the dryness and rosacea it leaves behind, the alcohol this contains is NOT a fatty one. You can also see on the ingredients list that alcohol comes second and that the actual rose water is the last ingredient. Overall, I’m very disappointed with the change in the formula and would NOT recommend using it as skincare.
