Description: Silicolgel contains silicic acid which is a compound of the mineral substance silicon and oxygen in a colloidal (highly dispersable) and hydrated form. Can be used to treat heartburn, reflux, vomiting and IBS symptoms: nausea, flatulence, stomach ache, discomfort and diarrhoea. Recommended Dosage Shake bottle well before use. Take at least 1 hour before or after the intake of medicines. Take 1 tablespoonful (15ml) three times daily, preferably before meals. Can be taken either undiluted or diluted with water. After acute symptoms ease, treatment with silicolgel can continue for another few days. Ingredients 3.5g Silicon dioxide in 100ml Silicic acid gel. Preservatives: Sorbic acid (E200), Sodium benzoate (E211) Warnings: No known contraindications. If the symptoms have not reduced after 3 days, consult a medical doctor. Review: I totally recommend this product It does work I had bacterial food poisoning? And it worked for me ,you might have to take it a bit longer but have a brake in between bland stuff to eat and not too much,plenty of fluids

Review: I purchased it when I had to be off my PPI medication. It does bring some relief, but is not as powerful. Worth trying though as PPI has a lot of side effects, especially if used for prolonged periods of time (ie causing magnesium deficiency). I would stay, if you stick to the correct diet, avoid sugary snacks and stuff, which aggravate your heartburn symptoms, this gel should be sufficiently soothing.
