Description: Siesta carob is the U Ks No 1 brand of Carob Confectionery. It is naturally sweet and contains no added sugar, no caffeine,no theobromine and no oxalic acid. All Siesta products are hand made in a nut free unit. In addition Siesta is made with non- hydrogenated vegetable fat and soya flour with no artifical flavourings,colourings or preservatives. Siesta carob is dairy and gluten free and is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. All products now carry the Vegan society logo. Carob is a sweet tasting bean which is often used as an alternative to chocolate or coffee. It contains less fat and no caffeine. It is the carob that gives this bar most if its sweetness, with a little natural enhancement from vanilla flavouring. Siesta Carob bars contain no dairy or any animal produce.
