Description: Full Spectrum Curcumin 185x is the most absorbable form of turmeric with 185x better take up into the body than other forms of turmeric. The active ingredients in turmeric include beneficial flavonoids called curcuminoids, which are plant-based antioxidants. They help to fight cell-damaging free radicals in the body. Standard turmeric is poorly absorbed and fails to benefit the rest of the body outside the gut. Solgar's form of curcumin survives the stomach acid, is closer in form to nature and is small enough to fit between microvilli for maximum absorption. Turmeric has been used in Ayurvedic traditions for centuries, as there are numerous health benefits linked to this powerful antioxidant and there are many older citizens in India who have attributed increased brain function to this amazing botanical. Potent antioxidant 185x greater bioavailability than standard curcumin More readily available to be used where it is needed in the body compared to standard Curcumin extract. Review: These curcumin gels have completely changed the knee pain I used to get before using them on a daily basis. I am now pain free from my arthritis in that joint.

Review: Solgar shows this as a "new vegan formula" prominently displayed in the pictures but is sending out their remaining stock of beef gelatin based capsules. At first I thought this would be a simple replacement. But neither Amazon nor Solgar seem willing to help. Amazon won't process a return, it isn't eligible because the return should be processed by Solgar. The email address Amazon directed me to at Solgar said they don't deal with this. Another department was tried. No help. This is very poor. Amazon say it isn't eligible for a return, contact Solgar. But Solgar have been incredibly poor. Disappointing, and potentially a costly mistake.
