Review: Crisp,medium dry,easy drinking .Unlike some of the organic wines I tasted. Loved it will order more.Recommend this Organic ,fresh tasting wine with fish + Mediterranean salads with rocket ,red onions rubbed with salt and washed /drained, extra virgin 1st cold press (Costco has one of the best tasting) + fresh lemon. Juice

Review: Got this in a good lightning deal before Christmas. I was looking forward to a bottle on Christmas day with dinner, but was somewhat slightly disappointed with it. I was expecting more from the wine. It seemed to be lacking in nose and body, and instead left it and opened some Sauvignon Blanc which I enjoyed a lot more. Don't know whether because its organic, you pay a hefty premium over a standard wine from the same grapes. It could be down to that the wine is made from 60% of the Catarratto grape - which is an over produced grape from Sicily - and I may not like that variety of grape for my palate. It could be that I like reds better? Whatever the reason, we finished the wine later on and it didn't appear to be too bad after 3 bottles of other wines. Will try it again or may even take it to friends houses for dinner. This is probably my personal taste in this wine, as it has won a lot of awards, so can't be bad overall. Its just that I did not enjoy it, I only found it OK.
