Review: I have tried many iron supplements but Terranova Easy iron is by far one of the best. I have no problem swallowing and digesting these capsules. It doesn’t hurt my stomach or make me feel constipated. Yes, stools will be a little more compact and darker in colour but that is to be expected on iron supplements - it means it’s being absorbed by the body. I take these with the Terranova B Complex capsules and noticed a huge improvement in my health. I have suffered from Gilbert’s syndrome my whole life, and when I started taking this combination my jaundiced eyes cleared up; not perfectly, but enough to see a marked improvement. My red blood cell count has gone up, and my blood cells aren’t destructing as rapidly as they used to. I am also able to absorb the nutrients from my food better and have started to put on a little healthy weight. I saw an improvement within a few days of taking the iron tablets by themselves, and a week when combined with the B Complex. The ingredients are natural and easily absorbable. I literally Googled every single ingredient to ensure this would be the case as many similar supplements claim to be ‘natural’ but after prolonged use they made my initial symptoms worse. I have taken a range of the Terranova products including the Pre Natal and Multivitamin Complex and they are all worth the money. If you like me, have taken a few health supplements and have been met with disappointment by their claims, give Terranova a try. I’ve recently cut down on my multivitamin use because the Iron and B Complex are working so well together, which goes to show sometimes are body doesn’t need all the vitamins just a good dose of a few key ones. Review: I really wanted to like these, but they caused me painful stomach aches/cramps. Not once but a couple of times. I stopped taking them. Since then, I have adjusted my diet to introduce more iron. Also whilst eating whole foods containing iron, I make sure I eat Vitamin C containing foods, which helps increase absorption of the iron. For e.g. red pepper salad with lentil curry. If no Vitamin C foods are available when I am eating foods containing iron, I simply eat a low dose (100mg) vit C supplement. I also supplement with 10ml of Floradix Iron Fomula (the original, not the newer non-gluten one). I have never felt better. I am jogging up flights of stairs at work and the colour under my nails is changing from a pale to a more redder hue. I am a male vegetarian, 32 years of age with an active lifestyle. I hope this helps somebody.
