Review: Firstly - if you purely look at the percentage / dose of the constituents with this multivit, you might mistakenly believe it won't be that effective. A lot of the synthesised/isolated (conventional) multivitamins have much higher doses of the various vitamins and minerals. But that's only part of the story. It's the form of these vitamins and minerals that really makes this product effective. In fact, my favourite multivitamin prior to this was Solgar's Male Multiple, which has incredibly high doses of each nutrient. If I couldn't get the Solgar, I used to get Centrum Men. Despite having lower concentrations of the various nutrients, the effect I feel from these multivitamins is somewhere between Centrum and Solgar. It's that good. In comparison to other multivitamins - well, I find these to be more effective than regular off-the-shelf brands such as Sanatogen or store own-label brands. (I can't give a fair comment regarding Wellman as they suit me so badly that I feel drained and actually catch colds when I take them, which makes them worse than having no multivitamin). I can only put the potency of these down to the fact that the vitamins and minerals are extracted from natural / food sources, and minimally-processed, thereby retaining the form that our bodies naturally expect to encounter, along with the various other food constituents / impurities that possibly enhance their effects. I suspect that this means that you need less of the nutrient to have the same effect you'd get from a conventional synthetic vitamin. Whether that's pure effectiveness or the fact you're actually absorbing it, not just peeing it all out, I don't know. These capsules are very small and easy to swallow, with virtually no noticable odour or taste. If you prefer, they're very easy to pull apart and the contents can be sprinkled into a drink or smoothie, or perhaps onto food. These are now my multivitamin of choice. I find them to be much more effective than regular ones with much higher concentrations of isolated nutrients. They are in fact so gentle that you don't even have to take them with food (I'd recommend you do take them with food to get the full benefit of their effects, though). My only gripe is that I'd perhaps like to have seen a little more magnesium in them, but the concentration is still as high as in most regular multivitamins.
