Review: As other reviewers have said; I was also unable to remove the lid. Eventually, I got a chisel and completely destroyed the lid, but at least I got it off. A piece of cling film is now serving as a lid. The pot was delightfully larger than I had realised it would be. The oil is slightly softer than the previous brand I had been using and I prefer than to be honest. The taste is fine, but I don't expect to taste it when used for cooking. I sometimes use it for oil pulling (mouthwash) and the taste and consistency is good for that purpose.
