Review: These supplements arrive in a plastic bottle that is 10.7cm tall and has a diameter of 5.1cm. The plastic used in the bottle is polyethylene terephthalate (PET or PETE), which should be widely recyclable. The lid does not have a childproof lock, so unscrews easily. The tablets themselves are 1.5cm long. With their rounded shape and smooth outer surface they are quite easy to swallow, so this shouldn’t be an issue for most. According to the directions on the label, the dosage is to take 3 tablets daily. This means that as the bottle contains 120 tablets, this bottle should provide enough to last approximately just over a month and one week (40 days). Each tablet is said to contain: 500mg Marine Collagen 12mg Vitamin C According to the label the other ingredients include: Fish Collagen, Ascorbic Acid, Anti-Caking Agents (Silica, Magnesium Stearate), Bulking Agent (Microcrystalline Cellulose). These supplements are not suitable for either Vegetarians or Vegans. They are said to be manufactured in the UK, and are Gluten, Wheat and Lactose free. The bottle I received had a best before date of 12 months from the time I received it. In conclusion, it is always hard to recommend supplements, because what works for one may not work for another.
