Description: Absolute Aromas Palmarosa essential oil (also known as cymbopogan martinii), has a sweet, rosy like aroma and is pale yellow or pale olive in colour. Main Theraputic Properties: Antibacterial, Antifungal, Anti-inflammatory, Astringent, Calmative, Digestive stimulant, Neurotonic. Method of Extraction: Steam distillation of the wild growing grass. Direction: Try adding 5 drops of Palmarosa, 2 drops of Ylang Ylang and 2 drops of Sandalwood to 30ml of Peach Kernel Oil for a pampering body oil. To help aid relaxation after a stressful day, blend 2 drops of Palmarosa and 1 drop of Geranium in a teaspoonful of Sweet Almond Oil and swish into a warm bath. Soak for at least 10 minutes. Review: Really strong scent, overpowered Roman chamomile (surprisingly). The scent is a nice pine-like scent but also with the hint of burnt wood creating the image of a forest coming back to life after a fire (in my opinion, could just be me).
