Review: E45 Dermatological Itch Relief Cream really does work. It is a thick cream, with no added perfume, contains urea to keep skin from drying out and Lauromacrogols to sooth itchy skin. It means I can get some sleep without being woken by intense itching reflex or scratching and breaking and damaging skin while asleep. It stings for a few minutes when first applied - then gives several hours of relief. It is expensive but worth the relief it brings. I'd recommend it to anyone who knows the torment that a severe itchy skin can cause.

Review: I have had itchy skin virtually all my life and have tried very many creams for relief. I find this E45 cream quite effective when my skin is mildly or moderately itchy, but I often need to apply it twice within 5 mins for it to work. Unfortunately, the dispenser is not well designed in my opinion: the top of the pump is a uniform shape and this makes it difficult to know which side the cream is going to come out when you push it down - the writing on the top isn't clear enough to use it in low light. Also, once you have got some of the cream out onto your hand it is very difficult to turn the dispenser pump to close it, because you can't hold the fairly hefty unit in the hand with the cream on it...
