Description: ESI Aloe Vera Gel is formulated with cold-pressed Aloe Vera juice capturing the maximum nutritional activity of the Aloe Vera Barbadensis plant, this unique paraben-free formula is designed to reduce the risk of allergies. Aloe Vera Gel softens, moisturises and helps to restore dry or damaged skin. Aloe Vera's soothing and cooling properties make it particularly suitable for inflamed skin, or after prolonged sun exposure. Suitable for all skin types this non-greasy formulation is easily absorbed. Aloe Vera is native to Africa, but is grown today in the West Indies and the American Southwest. Aloe is a member of the lily family, although it resembles cactus. It has been used since ancient times, but only recently has it enjoyed a rediscovery and subsequent popularity explosion. Due to increased demand, many companies manufacture aloe vera. Unfortunately, many of these products lose much of the plants original benefits by over processing. Some claim to have removed the disagreeable taste of the plant's juice, for example. But in doing so, they end up with a product that is only 10-15% aloe vera, at best. The Aloe Vera which goes into the ESI Aloe Fresh Vera gel is processed in a special way to avoid the loss of essential vitamins, minerals, and other active constituents. The leaf is filleted; then the green outer portion that contains aloin is removed, leaving the gel that remains in the leaf. The gel remains thick when the leaf is first cut, but after a few minutes, an enzymatic reaction causes it to become liquid and freely run out. Review: Acquisto questo prodotto dal 2012. Sempre la stessa marca e stesso prodotto. Prima lo acquistavo presso le erboristerie, successivamente in farmacia ed ora direttamente da AMAZON (le ultime due volte). Io lo adopero come dopo barba generalmente ma, in casa il suo utilizzo è molteplice. Lo consiglio vivamente, le proprietà dell'Aloe Vera sono eccellenti ed il gel al 99,99% che offre la ESI è, a mio parere, il migliore. Consigliatissimo!
