Review: I am not a big meat eater and would struggle to meet my protein requirement on a daily basis and this makes things easier. I love smoothies, so I tried it as a smoothie with some almond milk, natural yoghurt, nut butter, agave syrup, and strawberries/blueberries. Worked perfectly fine with 10g of powder. I can taste the powder, which does have a characteristic taste (reminds me of the edible wafer type things you got in church), it's not overpowering nor does it bother me. It does taste more powdery than normal but that is to be expected. I taste it less in soup. The fact that it is unflavoured, and I can use it where I want and how I want is great. This broadens its applicability and I will continue trying out new ways of using it. Might even try it in my bread, see if I can substitute some of the flour for this. Edit: I did try it in bread: ~50g instead of flour for a ~500g flour loaf. It is possible if you really want to, be prepared to make adjustments to other quantities though until you have the right consistency; plus kneading time went up considerably (I used a mixer). It is not easy to work with. Nobody tasted or noted any difference in the resulting loaf.

Review: I have a few complaints about this product. Firstly, the bag doesn't seal. It's supposed to and I haven't damaged the seal, but it doesn't work. So it's unhygienically wide open at the bottom of a cupboard. Second, it seems impossible to make up without lumps. I'm using two heaped dessert spoons of powder with a tall glass of soya milk. Putting it all in the blender was a really bad idea. So then I started with the powder in a jug, adding soya milk very slowly and whipping it with a fork. Then once all the liquid was added I put it in a high speed blender for a full minute. This time only a few small lumps at the bottom, but still - lumps. It has a fairly neutral taste, but trying to swallow the lumps down is horrible. Also it would be good if it came with a measuring scoop. Saying that a heaped dessert spoonful is 10g of powder/9g of protein is all very well, but how heaped? I'm trying not to be too pedantic for now, but it would be nice to be able to be accurate. I probably won't buy this powder again, and sadly a 1kg bag is going to last far too long. The one good thing is it does seem to be filling for a while. I'm not muscle building, but trying to get more protein into my vegan diet, and it will surely do that.
