Description: For the relief of teething and colicky pain, suitable from birth upwards. This product is suitable for vegans. Made from soothing chamomile root. More suited to younger infants than Chamomilla Drops (granules can be crushed and dissolved in boiled and cooled water for very small children). The base granule is made from sucrose and won't cause problems for lactose-intolerant infants. Weleda Chamomilla 3X Granules are helpful for babies and young children who suffer from colic. Signs are normally repeated episodes of excessive crying, often accompanied by the drawing up of legs in an otherwise healthy, well-fed baby. Colic is abdominal pain caused by the intestinal contractions (cramping) and wind, and is most common during the first 3 months of life. In general the granules are more suited to babies from birth onwards and the drops should be restricted to use in children over 6 months. Ingredients:100g of sucrose granules contains:3X homeopathic potency of Matricaria chamomilla radix, 1ml. Directions:ADULTS and CHILDREN (over 6 years): 2 saltspoonfuls dissolved in the mouth 3 times a day or every 15 minutes until the condition improves. INFANTS and CHILDREN (Birth - 6 years): 1 saltspoonful given every 15 minutes until the condition improves, for up to 6 doses. Review: I bought these for my son I have literally tried everything from gels to teething rings to powders to ice lollys u name it I've tried it n its all a waste of money in my opinion these did help a wee bit but I think to be honest I think my son would think medicine then that would calm him not that it actually helped he was always very aware even at 5/6 months what medicine is so I think when I'd say medicine time which would be this and calpol so he knew he liked it so to me I think it was just he knew he was getting it not it actually worked but who knows that's just my opinion but at bedtime he would settle after having this so weather it helped or not really I'm not bothered coz he settled after knowing he got it so that's what mattered and he slept so I was happy n clearly so was he I can't recommend coz I dont actually know if it worked but if u want to try it I would recommend u do and see if it does work for ur child oh one thing I nearly forgot u must watch out for strong urine with this btw soon after the first dose my son had this very strong smell to his pee so just a heads up coz I wish I'd known this I was thinking there was something wrong but anytime he didn't have this he was fine then wed go back to using it and the strong smell would be back so just a wee warning but other than that I think its worth trying I gave my son it off the wee spoon I'm not sure if u would rather try dissolving them in hot water I think mayb this could have made a difference to my son instead of swallowing them but I didn't know I could do this for his age but I believe now that would have made all the difference defo

Review: So I really don't know why I bought this. I know it is a placebo, but the reviews were so good and my little ones were suffering from trapped wind so thought I'd give it a go, I felt so sorry for them! When this came I tried and tried it - the babies both liked the taste, but it didn't help them and they seemed so distressed and uncomfortable, it made me feel awful not knowing how to help them and this did absolutely nothing. So, I researched and have found alternative ways to help. Don't waste your money on this, but do try this: 1. Sit the baby on your knee and do 5 circles in a clockwise direction - so his tummy is kind of gently squeezed when you bring him forwards and stretched out when he goes back. 2. Do the same anti-clockwise 3. Rock him back and forth 5 times again stretching and gently squeezing. 4. Hold him with your hands under his armpits vertically up in the air for 20 seconds without his feet touching anything (if they are finding it hard to poo it really helps them) 5. Put him up against your shoulder and do some repetitions of rub and gentle tap. Whenever our little ones start with the red faces, strain and un-comfortableness we do this and it immediately helps and settles them. The amount of wind (and poo) results we get from this far surpasses this product and makes for a happier baby. Please try these techniques first, worked so well for us!
